Prerequisites
- ✓Local water hardness test (council analysis or a test kit)
- ✓100 ml graduated cylinder (supplied by the Instaquim Technical Service)
- ✓Product dosing manual (supplied with your first delivery)
- ✓Technical data sheet for each washing machine (capacity, water consumption per cycle)
Step-by-step process
- 1
Define the target dose
Within the data-sheet range of 5–10 g/kg, according to soiling level (for Eco Wash, as specified by the Technical Service according to water hardness). Combine with machine capacity to obtain the target ml/cycle.
- 2
Configure the pump on the doser
Set the pulse time according to the manufacturer's table. Instaquim systems are pre-configured for each product.
- 3
Test with a graduated cylinder
Disconnect the pump outlet tube and direct it into the cylinder. Run a full cycle. Measure the actual volume.
- 4
Adjust until the target is reached
If the actual volume does not match the theoretical one, change the pulse time and repeat the test.
- 5
Record and document
Log the product, pump, pulse time, actual volume and date on the calibration sheet. File it for future audits.
- 6
Repeat for each pump / each product
Detergent, fabric softener and bleach if used. Each is calibrated independently.
