Five levers to reduce consumption

  1. 1

    Monthly pump calibration

A poorly calibrated system can overdose by up to 20%. Calibrate with a measuring cylinder every 30 days.

  2. 2

    Migrate to a concentrated detergent

Biogold at 5–10 g per kg of dry laundry, according to soiling level.

  3. 3

Soften the water if it is hard

Water above 25 °fH consumes up to 30% of the detergent in neutralising limescale. A water softener pays for itself quickly.

  4. 4

    Dosing proportional to the load

If your machines have a weight sensor, enable load-proportional dosing. Savings of 10–15%.

  5. 5

    Replace peristaltic tubes on time

A worn tube lets more product through. Replace every 6–12 months depending on use.
