Suaumatic, Neutralizing, reducing fabric softener

Suaumatic

Neutralizing, reducing fabric softener

Highly effective softening agent that eliminates any residue of alkalinity and chlorine that may remain in clothes at the end of the washing process. Suitable for automatic dosing systems. As a neutraliser, it returns to the clothes the pH proper to the fabric, facilitating drying and ironing and preventing problems of skin irritations due to contact with clothes bearing scale deposits or alkalinity. As an anti-chlorine reducer, it prevents the yellowing and degradation of fabrics due to remains of chlorine. Prevents the formation of static electricity, leaving a pleasant fragrance in the clothes.

Benefits for professional use

  • Neutralisation of residual alkalinity — restores the fabric's natural pH after washing with detergents, reducing garment stiffness and facilitating subsequent drying and pressing.
  • Elimination of residual chlorine — the anti-chlorine reducing action prevents progressive yellowing and fibre degradation with continued use, extending the lifespan of textiles.
  • Softness and static electricity control — softening agents improve fabric feel and eliminate electrostatic charge, particularly relevant in synthetic fabrics and blends.
  • Lasting fragrance — imparts durable aroma to textiles, especially valued in hospitality linens, towels and workwear.
  • Phosphate-free, EDTA-free, NTA-free, ammonia-free, chlorine-free — formulation without restricted additives, without artificial dyes or caustic soda, suitable for environments with elevated environmental and safety requirements.

Main applications

  • Industrial laundries: direct integration into automatic dosing systems for managing large volumes of laundry, acting in the final rinse as a benchmark product in the process.
  • Hospitality and hotels: maintenance of feel and fragrance in linens, towels and bedding washed at high frequency — established solution as a softener for towels in hotel laundries.
  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities: elimination of alkaline and chlorinated residues in patient and staff clothing, reducing the risk of cutaneous reactions in sensitive skin.
  • Care homes and geriatric centres: pH control in everyday garments with subtle fragrance, compatible with care environments.
  • Uniforms and workwear: preservation of colour and extension of textile lifespan in high-volume automatic washing operations, simplifying stock by replacing softener and reducing agent with a single product.

Recommended sectors

  • HoReCa — management of linens, towels and table linens with high washing frequency in hotels, restaurants and restaurant chains; benchmark solution for hotel laundry operations.
  • Healthcare and geriatric care — control of alkaline and chlorinated residues in patient and healthcare staff clothing; especially recommended for sensitive skin and continuous care environments.
  • Service companies and facility management — integration into outsourced textile laundry protocols and comprehensive service contracts as part of the industrial laundry product range.

Directions for use

01
Verify that the automatic dosing system is configured for the softener compartment or final rinse of the washing cycle.
02
Programme the dose between 5 and 10 g per kg of dry laundry depending on local water hardness and process loading level.
03
Add Suaumatic exclusively in the final rinse — do not mix directly with the detergent in the same compartment or in the same addition cycle.
04
Adjust the dose progressively according to results obtained in feel, fragrance and pH control of the rinse water.
05
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat and direct light. Consult the technical data sheet for specific compatibility by fabric type.

Detailed dosing information, storage conditions and fabric-specific recommendations are available in the product technical data sheet.

Frequently asked questions

What is Suaumatic used for?

Suaumatic is a concentrated industrial softener with triple function: it neutralises the residual alkalinity of detergents, eliminates residual chlorine through reducing action and imparts lasting softness and fragrance to the fabric. It is applied in the final rinse of the industrial washing cycle via automatic dosing.

Which sectors is it recommended for?

It is especially recommended in hospitality and hotels, industrial laundries, hospitals and healthcare facilities, geriatric care homes and service companies managing high-volume uniforms and workwear.

What sets Suaumatic apart from a conventional softener?

A conventional softener acts solely on fabric texture. Suaumatic additionally incorporates neutralisation of residual alkalinity and reduction of residual chlorine, preventing yellowing and progressive fibre degradation with continued use — functions that standard softeners do not offer.

Is it suitable for professional use?

Yes. Formulated by Detervic / Instaquim exclusively for professional industrial laundry environments, with technical support for authorised distributors and users.

Where can I consult the technical data sheet?

Available on this page. For specific dosing information, storage conditions or detailed operational guidance by fabric type, consult the technical document.

Is the safety data sheet available?

Yes. The safety data sheet (SDS) is available for authorised customers and distributors upon request to the commercial department.
